This is a recording of a presentation I was asked to give to our IT Department. The focus of the talk was to introduce the concepts of Docker and Kubernetes.
It demonstrates how we can use these technologies to quickly bring up a new Sitecore environment, that runs a version of our Corporate website. This would then form part of our disaster recovery plan, allowing us to reprovision the corporate site in a matter of minutes.
It also lays some ground work, for a possible move from hosting our sitecore environments on Virtual Machines to an Azure Kubernetes cluster.
