I came back from holiday at the end of August to the news that the latest update had been release for Sitecore 10.3. Keen to check it out and upgrade our solution to the latest release, I fired up NuGet package manage in visual studio, only to find that the latest packages were not available.
Thinking that I was doing something wrong, I logged a quick ticket with the support team. It turns out that Sitecore don’t release the NuGet packages concurrently with product releases.
Thought I would share the response, in case someone else is in a similar situation, wondering what they were doing wrong…
I’d like to refer you to the Sitecore NuGet FAQ, specifically the question “When are the packages available?”. It notes that Sitecore does not guarantee NuGet packages will be released concurrently with the product, module, or version.
We are actively working on the availability of these packages. Please keep an eye on the feed for any updates. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

And then from the Sitecore docs site:
When are the packages available?
Sitecore intends to make packages available as soon as the releases are available. However, Sitecore does not guarantee that the NuGet packages will be available at the same time as the product, module, or version is released.
Update: 27/11/24 – I checked and it is now available in the NuGet feed 🙂
